country clothing!

 Country clothing

Country clothing is mainly checked  pattern , worn out jeans , designed belts and gumboots. Lots of farm cloths are light so when you go do farm work you do not get to hot. checked  tops prevent getting scratched from hay bales.

New home, new clothes: the old ones no longer fit once you move to the country

What is a Quality Blog Comment?

Today whaea Donna came in a we done What is a Quality Blog Comment? we looked at blog comments and tried to make them a better quality.

I learned to do a question on the end of every comment.

I liked the part when we had to do the yes/no check list.

My least favourite part was when I had to write my name lots of times.

Next time I want to learn how to do thoughtful comments.

Refugees!

I notice that More than 2,000 migrants have crossed the sea on small boats in June that set a new record. I wonder if they used petrol or diesel and I also wonder how much the used? I think it is safe to cross if the person know how to drive the boat.

Pop Up Card!

Today we created a prototype of our pop-up card. My theme for my pop up card was Matariki.  On the inside, there will be a pull tab. That will say ¨Nau mai¨ which means Welcome with a little boat under neath the word. On the outside there will be a drawing of New Zealand. A prototype is a draft copy of what you are making. My next step is to modify my design. This means make an improvement.  I am going to add the 7 sisters at the top inside page.  I will need black , blue and white card I will also need hot glue and a pencil.

I enjoyed drawing the little boat

My least favourite part was making the movement because it was hard

Data!

My group made a graph about how much time students spend on devices?

We went on google sheets and added all the data and got a column chart.

This graph shows that 7 people like to play games.

I think that devices are useful for like finding out words because it is quicker

Kei Te Aha!

This is a game of snap to learn Te Reo Maori.
How to play:
1. Print out the card to play with friends
2. Use the computer to practice by yourself.
3. Flip two cards and if you get two the same you shout snap!
4. If you don't get it you put it back down.

We made this to help us improve speaking in Te Reo Maori. This has really helped me with my pronounciation.
Can I have some feedback about my game?
